WASHINGTON – Today, Congressman Ronny Jackson (TX-13) released the following statement on the U.S. Supreme Court’s unanimous ruling in favor of the Sackett family in Sackett v. EPA.

Jackson said: “Today’s decision by the Supreme Court in favor of the Sackett family and to reject the Biden administration’s ill-conceived “significant nexus” test is an enormous victory for the farmers, ranchers, and landowners of Texas’ Thirteenth Congressional District. The Environmental Protection Agency’s “Revised Definition of ‘Waters of the United States’” was another example of the Biden Administration weaponizing the federal government against Americans and, in this case, their private property rights. It is time the Biden Administration ends its pursuit of controlling every aspect of your lives and puts forth a rule that creates and promises certainty for rural America.”
