WASHINGTON — Yesterday, Congressman Ronny Jackson’s (TX-13) bill, the Maintaining American Superiority by Improving Export Control Transparency Act, was passed by the U.S. House of Representatives. This legislation would provide critical information to Congress and the Trump Administration on all export license applications, including applicant identity, recipient details, final decisions, and compliance measures. This will improve oversight of American-made technologies exported overseas while prioritizing our national security and supporting responsible international trade. Senators Jim Banks (R-IN) and Mark Warner (D-VA) are leading companion legislation in the Senate. |
