WASHINGTON — Representative Ronny Jackson (TX-13) recently participated in the Navy League of the United States’ 2026 Sea-Air-Space exposition, where he joined a Congressional panel focused on naval fleet readiness, emerging defense technologies, and the growing threat China poses to global maritime security.

During the discussion, Rep. Jackson highlighted the importance of maintaining American military superiority at sea through continued investment in both personnel and platforms, while also strengthening the nation’s maritime industrial base to support the Department of War’s long-term national security objectives.

“As warfare evolves and our adversaries increasingly rely on cyber capabilities, autonomous systems, and grey-zone tactics in the undersea domain, our Navy must rapidly modernize the fleet to maintain America’s naval superiority,” said Rep. Jackson. “Thankfully, President Trump’s FY27 Navy budget is meeting this challenge head on, making a historic investment in American sea power and marking the strongest commitment to naval dominance in decades.”

As a Navy veteran with 25 years of service and a member of the House Armed Services Committee, Rep.
