WASHINGTON — Representative Ronny Jackson (TX-13) will join President Donald J. Trump in highlighting the resurgence of American manufacturing during a visit to Peterbilt Motors’ factory in Denton, Texas on Thursday. The visit comes as the Trump administration and House Republicans’ successful pro-growth policies have spurred new investment, lowered taxes, and helped reshore critical supply chains.

Peterbilt parent company PACCAR has added more than 1,000 jobs at its Denton facility and more than 2,000 jobs across the United States. The company’s Peterbilt and Kenworth brands move approximately 30% of the nation’s truck freight.

“President Trump is delivering on his promise to put American workers and American manufacturing first,” said Rep. Jackson. “Right here in Texas, we’re seeing what happens when we cut red tape, unleash American industry, and stand up for our workers. The thousands of jobs created by Paccar are proof that America is open for business again, and I’m proud to stand with President Trump as we continue bringing jobs, investment, and critical manufacturing back home.”
