Rep. Jackson Demands Answers from the CEO of Pfizer

WASHINGTON – Today, Representative Ronny Jackson (TX-13) sent a letter to the CEO of Pfizer, Albert Bourla, demanding answers and accountability in light of recent reports exposing Pfizer for possibly conducting gain-of-function research with the COVID-19 virus.

Jackson said: As a physician, I believe these reports are unsettling and cause for concern. Experimenting with gain-of-function research on a virus for the sole purpose of financial gain is not only unethical but inhumane. As a member of the House Select Subcommittee on the Coronavirus Pandemic, I will thoroughly dig into every lie and abuse the American people have suffered during the Pandemic. If these reports are true, Pfizer has turned the American people into their own lab-rats—with Democrats gleefully cheering them on like saviors. Our investigation will leave no stone unturned in finding the truth regarding bad actors who abused their authority throughout the handling of the COVID-19 pandemic. Answers are coming and we will hold those responsible accountable for their actions.”

The full letter can be found here.

Background:

  • The Select Subcommittee is tasked with investigating the origins of COVID-19, providing transparency about vaccine development, and ensuring accountability for the trillions of taxpayer dollars spent during the pandemic.
  • Recent reports have indicated Pfizer is performing gain-of-function research and conducting experiments intended to mutate the COVID-19 virus, similar to what was conducted by the Chinese Communist Party at the Wuhan Institute of Virology.
