WASHINGTON — Today, Representative Ronny Jackson (TX-13) celebrated Sheppard Elementary School, located on Sheppard Air Force Base in Wichita Falls, Texas, being awarded a $14.8 million Military-Connected Schools Construction, Modernization, and Facilities Maintenance Program Grant through the Department of War Education Activity (DoWEA).

The grant will fund the construction of a new auditorium and significant renovations to the existing school building, enhancing educational opportunities for military-connected students and improving campus facilities for future generations. This award reflects the commitment of Sheppard Air Force Base to supporting military families and their children’s academic success through a safe, secure, and modernized learning environment.
