Core to America’s national security is a strong national defense. Having served in the military for nearly three decades, I have been honored to play an active role during my time in Congress to help bolster our national defense.

Texas’ 13th Congressional District plays a vital role in our country’s military preparedness and dominance, thanks to the great work done at Sheppard Air Force Base, Pantex, and Bell Helicopter. I have been and will always be a strong partner and advocate for their vital work as we look to keep the growth and modernization of our national defense going.

During my time on the House Armed Services and Foreign Affairs Committees, I have focused on ensuring that the United States is prepared to fight and win against any potential adversaries while also providing adequate support for our allies in key regions of the world.
