Rep. Jackson Secures Wins for TX-13 as the House Passes the FY25 NDAA

WASHINGTON — Today, Congressman Ronny Jackson (TX-13) issued the following statement after the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2025 (NDAA) passed in the U.S. House of Representatives by a vote of 217-199. Due to Jackson’s efforts, countless provisions were included in the bill that will improve the quality of life for servicemembers and their families at Sheppard Air Force Base in Wichita Falls, modernize the Pantex Plant in Amarillo, and provide support for the defense-focused workforce across the district.

Jackson said: "This year’s NDAA ensures Texas’ Thirteenth Congressional District is at the heart of supporting our military. As a member of the House Armed Services Committee, and as a veteran, I worked tirelessly to shape a bill that will improve servicemember quality of life while also revitalizing America's defense industrial base and improving our readiness. This bill also reaffirms America’s strong commitment to our allies and partners around the world as we continue to face enormous and increasing challenges and threats from our adversaries. I was proud to have my amendment adopted to authorize cooperation between the United States and Israel on emerging technology capabilities. Now, more than ever, I am proud to be an ardent supporter of Israel who is our greatest ally in the Middle East. Thank you to Chairman Rogers for his leadership in crafting such a powerful defense bill that takes transformational strides to improve the quality of life for our servicemembers. I’m proud to have supported this legislation on the House Floor today and look forward to working with my colleagues in the Senate to ensure these provisions are signed into law."
