Rep. Jackson Reintroduces Legislation to Expose the Biden-Harris Administration’s Funding of UNRWA’s Terrorist Crimes

WASHINGTON — Today, Congressman Ronny Jackson (TX-13) reintroduced the Uncovering UNRWA's Terrorist Crimes Act. This legislation would codify the executive order signed by President Trump halting all federal funding to the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA). This bill also authorizes a report to be created by the U.S. State Department that will reveal all funding provided by the United States to UNRWA during the Biden-Harris administration.

“UNRWA completely forfeited its credibility when they employed the very terrorists who participated in perpetrating the October 7th attacks,” said Rep. Jackson. “We must eliminate all federal funding used to prop up Hamas and expose the exact amount of taxpayer dollars that were sent to support this terrorist entity under the Biden-Harris administration. President Trump is the most pro-Israel President in history, exemplified by one of his first executive orders being the cutting off of all funding to UNRWA. I am proud to work with President Trump to fight against the misuse of foreign aid and will remain steadfast in my commitment to ensuring a safe and secure Israel.”

The bill text can be found here.

Representatives Jim Baird (IN-04), Abe Hamadeh (AZ-08), Keith Self (TX-03), Beth Van Duyne (TX-24), and Randy Weber (TX-14) cosponsored Congressman Jackson’s legislation.
