Rep. Jackson Sends Letter Demanding Rep. Tlaib be Barred from Attending Classified Intelligence Briefings

WASHINGTON — Yesterday, Representative Ronny Jackson (TX-13) sent a letter to Speaker Pro Tempore Patrick McHenry and Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries demanding that Representative Rashida Tlaib (MI-12) be barred from attending classified intelligence briefings on the war in Israel. This letter was sent in wake of Tlaib proudly stating her pro-Hamas stance in the conflict. Due to the classified nature of intelligence briefings for Members of Congress and Tlaib’s support for Iranian-backed Hamas, her participation in these briefings would threaten the integrity of Israel’s military operations and put American and Israeli lives at risk.

Jackson said: I don’t know what’s more concerning, that we have Members of Congress who are antisemites and support Hamas, or that we let those Members of Congress attend classified briefings on the war in Israel. While I cannot control the fact that these leftists’ districts elect terrorist sympathizers to office, I will do everything in my power as a member of the House Armed Services and Foreign Affairs Committees to bar them from receiving American intelligence on the current situation in Israel. You do not let the enemy know your plans, and letting Representative Tlaib into these briefings is doing exactly that. Furthermore, this anti-American, anti-Jewish sentiment from elected “leaders” must STOP, it is dangerous!
